Island Beach State Park was chosen as the most beautiful location in the Garden State. I think we would all agree that we have many beautiful locations in New Jersey, and Island Beach State Park deserves to be on the list and top that list for so many.

According to Cosmopolitan, “New Jersey’s Island Beach State Park, which spans nearly 10 miles of the Barnegat Peninsula, is a popular place for ocean swimming and surf fishing. And with its maritime forests, tidal marshes, and rolling sand dunes, the undeveloped barrier beach provides an incredible backdrop for these and other recreational activities.

It’s no wonder that during the summer season, Island Beach State Park is always visited by thousands every week of the summer. In fact, on a sunny day, the location fills to capacity extremely quickly and is closed by mid-morning to additional visitors. It’s simply a beautiful natural resource and we are lucky to have it right here in Ocean County, New Jersey.
