The Newcastle Caravan Camping Lifestyle Expo will roll into the Newcastle Entertainment Centre and Showground this weekend.
Kind of like a one-stop shop for caravan and camping products, the expo offers outdoor types the chance to check out services and equipment from industry leaders across three massive days.
Staged annually by the peak industry body, NSW Caravan & Camping Industry Association (CCIA NSW) the event is now in its twelfth year of operation in Newcastle.
“This year the show has loads of new products on display from the inflatable camper trailer set up by Mars Campers, to a camper trailer rooftop tent fitted with stairs from Hardkorr Campers,” Ms Lyndel Gray CEO of CCIA NSW said.
“Caravan and camping holidays are so popular because they connect travelers to nature, give them access to some of the most beautiful locations NSW has to offer, and people just love being outdoors, camping under the stars, or enjoying the facilities of our terrific holiday parks.
“Expo goers will also get to discover the fantastic new facilities at holiday parks across the state. One example is Reflections Holiday Parks Jimmy’s Beach where over $ 5 million has been spent on upgrades including a luxury saltwater pool, solar-powered cabins, and tiny homes set in the bush.”
One of the highlights people can expect at this year’s Newcastle Caravan Camping Lifestyle Expo will be a display of High-power lithium batteries and inverters that enable people to travel or work from anywhere ‘off-grid’ with all the comforts of home.
And pet owners will be able to check out an innovative solution for traveling with their best mates – an inflatable pet fence from Inflatafence!
Tickets are $16 for adults and $12 for concessions. Children 16 and under can enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are on sale now and are available at caravan.expo.com.
